Chicago Reilly & Lee Co. 1935 1st Edition Hardcover Fine in Very Good dust jacket Illustrated by Neill, John R. 
Blue cloth covers with attached front cover graphic. True First with color plates. Some Shelf wear and light bumping at corners though corners remain square. Block edges show dust staining and very light handling marks. "This book belongs to" filled out with name, inscription, and date of 1937. A few pages (roughly 3) have smudges or finger prints. Hinges are solid and bloc is in good shape. DJ (originally white) shows dust staining and marks from handling. A 1/4" tear and fold shows above the g in Wishing. Scattered chipping throughout the rest of the jacket focused on the top of the spine. Other books listed on back flap have been checked off in pencil (impressive collection).

Green cloth covers with no paper cover label. Blank end papers. ca. 1959-60s. Covers and end papers have heavy mold staining and foxing. Book has noticeable mold odor up close. Text has light foxing throughout. DJ has light surface rubbing and some chipping along top spine edge. Were it not for the mold damage (which does not effect the text) this would be a fine copy.

Well read, complete copy. Covers are dirty and well rubbed. Spine edges and bottom edge have chipping. Rounded corners. Text is smudged and also dirty. "Christmas Morning" plate is detached but still with book. Block is broken in 2 places. Despite faults this book remains attractive.
